Our Blog's Reading Level

blog readability test

Movie Reviews

So I guess you need to have this level of education to understand our blog. :) Kind of makes me feel good. I wonder what the ratings are based on (vocabulary, punctuation, spelling, grammar)?

Thirty

Some of you know I'll be leaving my twenty-something's on March 23, which will be on Easter. I'm not depressed like Ben was, but I am amazed at how I don't feel like I should be this old yet. But, then a closer look in the mirror tells me I've been around for a little while, or maybe the past 2 1/2 years with kids has aged me twice as fast. Here's a little slideshow of my life and what I've looked like over the past 30 years. You may be surprised and amazed at some of the changes. Needless to say, looking back through photos of the past 30 years brought back a lot of laughs and great memories. Some things I miss and others I'm really glad are done. I wouldn't change anything because I enjoy where I am right now. Of course, hind-sight is 20/20 and there are some things I wish I would have maybe done a little differently or put more effort into it, but overall I grew up in a great family and I'm married to the greatest man who happens to be my best friend--he makes me whole, and our two little ones are my pride and joy.

Things Natalie Loves

Natalie loves opening presents and is especially excited when a package comes in the mail like this one for Valentine's Day. It makes it even more exciting when there are fruit snacks inside, which are her favorite! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Tobler.

Natalie loves to sit at her table and do crafts, but she really enjoys putting stickers on paper. These foam flower stickers are really fun!

Natalie loves, loves, loves to read! She can be found with a book almost all the time. If she isn't reading herself, she's asking one of us to read to her. A dream for a mother whose a teacher!

She loves to help with the dishes (and so does Lincoln). She can often be found loading the dishwasher, unloading the dishwasher and helping put the dishes away, or setting the table for dinner. She's our big helper!

She loves candy (who doesn't?), and can be seen here eating Skittles found in the package from Grandma and Grandpa Tobler.

She enjoys drawing on the new magnetic white board. She also likes to play with her magnets on it and use it for FHE lessons.

No, she doesn't love taking naps, but she does love the blue furry purse that she is sleeping with. She carries it everywhere along with one of the many stuffed animals she has.

Natalie loves to paint with water colors. This was her first time and she loved it and did a great job. She's our budding artist.

Natalie also loves to be clean. Taking a bath is a favorite and Lincoln loves this one too.
