Thirty

Some of you know I'll be leaving my twenty-something's on March 23, which will be on Easter. I'm not depressed like Ben was, but I am amazed at how I don't feel like I should be this old yet. But, then a closer look in the mirror tells me I've been around for a little while, or maybe the past 2 1/2 years with kids has aged me twice as fast. Here's a little slideshow of my life and what I've looked like over the past 30 years. You may be surprised and amazed at some of the changes. Needless to say, looking back through photos of the past 30 years brought back a lot of laughs and great memories. Some things I miss and others I'm really glad are done. I wouldn't change anything because I enjoy where I am right now. Of course, hind-sight is 20/20 and there are some things I wish I would have maybe done a little differently or put more effort into it, but overall I grew up in a great family and I'm married to the greatest man who happens to be my best friend--he makes me whole, and our two little ones are my pride and joy.

Congrats on the bday. That slideshow trumps anything I have accomplished up to this point in my life. I would have voted for you for homecoming queen, by the way.

Your baby pictures have so much of both Natalie and Lincoln in them.

I can really see Natalie in your toddler years.

And I LOVED your 20 something short hair cut.

30 wow. You're gonna be old.

I Love it.

I think that my son might have a crush on you. He seriously sat here mesmerized by the whole show!!! That's quite a feat for a 16 mo. old.
It was fun to see those shots. I was there for a lot of them..climbing those mountains, cross country trips, etc. How fun to remember.

I didn't realize how much your kids look like you. Wow. 30 didn't affect me either. 35 was much harder, but 40! that was harder.
